Dear Michelle,

Sorry I haven't been in touch for such a long time. I wrote this on the coach to Scotland. I'm on my way to Edinburgh to stay with my grandmother. I usually visit her once a year. She lives in a village just outside Edinburgh. I haven't seen her since last July so it'll be fun. I have always gotten very well with her.

I never had a holiday on my own without Mum or Dad before so I enjoyed the freedom!

How are things with you? Give my love to your parents and write soon!
