I once heard someone say that "Success comes from taking risks". That got me thinking.
What even is success and how do we reach it? Well, success means something different to everyone. It's more like a state of mind, something that you can't see, or feel. It's just something you work for, aspire to have and sigh in relief once you reach it. But how do we really reach success? Does it come from hard work and going steady, or taking fast paced desicions and taking risks?
In my opinion, this differs from person to person. For example, if I got a B on my maths test, I would consider it a success, but if my classmate who studied all night for the test got a B, it wouldn't be a success to the. Its all based on the way we percieve situations, the way we see success and the context. To me, taking risks can sometimes be beneficial, as long as you are at least a little bit confident you can see the end of it. Taking it slow however, and not taking any risks, knowing exactly what you are doing and what you are capable of is also extremely important.
In conclusion, I would say that success can come from taking risks, but I would not choose to make it a habit, and focus more on doing things in my own pace, and not risking anything, no matter how helpful it could be, because there is always a possibility that something could go wrong.
