In my opinion , It's important to invest both money and affort in exploring the universe , because we could find a lot af new things about our universe , and we would get to know it . 
 First , it;s important to invest money and effort in exploring the universe because we can descover new thing , that can be usefull to use. For example the way Alexender Fleming  found out about pinicilin it was by searching the bond between mold and bacteria growing.
Secondly , it's important to invest money and effort in exploring the universe because we all get to know it better . We learn a lot of thing by exploring it. We haven't found out no even a half about our universe that's way this  is so interesting and important. For example , if Christopher Columbus wasn't exploring the world , he wouldn't have found America .
In the end , we should invest more money and effort in exploring the universe because we learn more about our universe and we find out a lor about it , and also because it's helpful for all of us.
